Cleaning of I.T. equipment
According to recent research by The University of Arizona, a typical workstation can harbour up to 400 times the amount of germs as the average lavatory. Telephones tend to hold the most germs followed by keyboards and mice. Cold and flu viruses deposited on these areas can remain active for up to 72 hours.
Of course, it’s not just a health issue here; people work better in a pleasant and clean environment.

A typical See-Thru I.T. clean includes:
- Keyboard* and mouse: Controlled air-cleaning to remove debris and dust followed by sanitizing the external surfaces and mouse mat with anti-bacterial cleaning agents.
- Monitor: Removal of dust, cleaning of external case and screen, using the correct materials for the purpose, whether the monitor is CRT, TFT or plasma.
- Telephones, fax machines, copiers and printers: Removal of dust, toner and debris from accessible parts, thorough cleansing of external parts.
- PC case: Removal of dust from accessible areas, thorough cleaning of case.
- Server rooms: Too often we find that the server room has been overlooked. This area needs to be a completely dust-free environment - your server’s cooling fans will suck in any dust and fluff, possibly leading to failure caused by overheating of internal components.
